searchdbRIP

A search engine designed to provide an enhanced interface for fast and/or advanced RIP queries that may not be available within the genome browser.

Quick Search: search dbRIP by databaseIDs, by originalIDs, or by locations:

(e.g. 1001461, Ya5NBC132, chr7, chr2:10000-20000, etc.. Multiple IDs/locations should be delimited by commas):

OR   upload from file (one databaseID or originalID per line):

in Genome

Advanced Search: search dbRIP by specifying search criteria from below:

uncheck criteria you want to have excluded from the search.
search criteria joined by AND logic unless otherwise specified.

select whether RIP is present in reference genome

Data set

chromosome & genomic region
filter by either chromosome or a genomic region. genomic region entry should contain the chromosome, chromStart, and chromEnd (i.e. chr2:20000-20005)

OR (exclusive)

chromosome and range

maximal distance allowed between RIP and given range

gene context
RIPs may be in multiple genomic contexts simultaneously. RIPs that are present in unchecked genomic contexts will not be returned.

ethnic population and allele frequency
Input the range of allele frequencies in decimal form. (i.e a population with input 0.2 to 0.3 will only find RIPs for which that population has allele frequencies of 0.2 to 0.3, inclusive. Default is 0 to 1 - includes all allele frequencies.)
More details on the populations and their sources can be found here.
